Tuition & FeesA number of factors contribute to making Valley Christian School such
an exceptional value in education. Since 1974 -- Valley has been the
recipient of the support, funds and prayers of Huntingdon Valley
Presbyterian Church. Being a mission of the Church, a substantial amount
of the cost associated with housing the school is absorbed by the
congregation. Payment PlanValley Christian School offers financial assistance in the form of payment plans, and scholarships. It is our hope that the payment plans we offer will make financing your child's education a manageable experience. The “Details” link will provide insight into the payment options available to families at Valley. Lunch and SnacksBreakfast Program provides parents with a relief from the rush hectic morning. Arrive a little early and your children can take advantage of a nutritional breakfast at a most affordable price. We at Valley Christian School believe that you are the best judge of
your child’s dietary needs. We ask that you provide a healthy lunch each
day and snacks for the one break your child will have throughout their
day. UniformsValley Christian School recognizes the benefits inherent in providing a learning environment free of peer pressure related to dress. Children are able to perform at an even level with their peers. School is presented as a no nonsense place where learning is the primary goal. Students' expectations of themselves increase -- resulting in a positive effect on their achievement. Through Valley's dress code we hope to place our children in a position to succeed. ScholarshipsScholarship money is available to qualifying families. Scholarships at Valley Christian School are based on a family's need
for aid. Considerations such as athletic or academic ability, or other
talents do not weigh in the decision to award scholarships. Textbooks and SuppliesState Law (Act 195) authorizes the loan of textbooks by the Secretary of Education to children enrolled in nonpublic schools. Act 90 authorizes the loan of instructional materials. Our school requests the textbooks and materials to be loaned. This law, however, requires that a parent of each child attending the nonpublic school individually request a loan of materials. Therefore, each parent must sign a consent form to be kept on file in the school office.
